The Influence

A reminder for all 6th graders that want to be a part of a leadership team: w e have a program called The Influence that meets on the first Sunday of the month directly after the second service.  We meet until 2:00.  This week we will have lunch, do our service project (backpack for kids), talk about what the Bible says about being a servant, and also plan an upcoming C-456 activity.  This is a great time for 6th grade students to be by themselves and learn to serve.  This week we will also get sizes for the new hoodies we will order.  Should be a fun time.  If your 6th grader is going to be there please let Matt know so we can have enought lunch for everyone.  Check out The Influence logo that will be on our hoodies.  Props to Kerry who can design anything.

Welcome!!!

Finally we are up and running.  Thanks to Joel who spurred us on to the goodness of the 21st century, Becca and Kerry who built it and Mark who saved us a bunch of money. (don't ask) This blog is for parents, volunteers and kids a like.  We want to do our best, as a children's ministry to communicate what is going on in the lives of children, birth through 6th grade, with you the reader.  We want you to see pictures, read our posts, leave your comments, and communicate with us at any time.  To the right of this post you can see how to navigate through the blog.  If you need to contact one of our children's staff either FSM/VB you can click on the name.  If you want to only read post about specific ministries you can click under catigories to whatever pertains to the ministry you want to read about.  Thanks for taking time to read our post.  Check back each day.  If you have any questions give us a shout.
