Monday morning....yikes right? Three cups of coffee ought to get me started. Mondays don't bother me too much. Come in the office, shut the door, and drink a cup of coffee while reading the devotional on the Community Blog. Mondays are only as bad as we allow them to be. I try, though I am far from perfect (and don't ask Becca), to make the choice to have a good day. It's all about the approach. Try it and see.
Yesterday I spent the day on our Van Buren campus. I attended the first service at 8:30 then floated around in children's ministry during the second, spending a majority of the time in K-3. Robert, Christie, and Whitney, you all have it under control. There’s great energy, great prep, and great flow. Well done and props to you. Most importantly, kid's lives were being transformed. Thank you for serving and watch out for that hockey stick!
To all of the Children’s Ministry volunteers on both campuses, a sincere "THANK YOU". Stacey, Julie, Kacee, Mike, and I couldn't do it without you.
Volunteers...I am thankful. That's one thing that helps get me started on Monday.
